Make these darling amigurumi toadstools with this pattern from The Big Book of Little Amigurumi

What you need...

• Worsted-weight yarn in red and white
  
• Size E-4 (3.5 mm) and F-5 (3.75) crochet hooks
  
• 6 mm plastic eyes with safety backings
  
• Small pieces of white craft felt
  
• Sewing thread and sharp needle
  
• Black embroidery floss and tapestry needle
  
• Fiberfill or stuffing of your choice

1. Small Mushroom - CAP
   Rnd 1: Using F hook and red yarn, ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook.
   Rnd 2: Sc 2 in each sc around. (12 sts)
   Rnd 3: *Sc 1, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 6 times. (18 sts)
   Rnd 4: *Sc 2, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 6 times. (24 sts)
   Rnd 5: *Sc 3, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 6 times. (30 sts)
   Rnd 6: *Sc 4, 2 sc in next sc*, rep 6 times. (36 sts)
   Rnds 7–12: Sc 36.
   Rnd 13: *Sc 4, dec 1*, rep 6 times. (30 sts)
   Rnd 14: *Sc 3, dec 1*, rep 6 times. (24 sts)
   Cut 3 small mushroom spots of white felt and sew to mushroom cap.
   Rnd 15: *Sc 2, dec 1*, rep 6 times. (18 sts)
   Rnd 16: *Sc 1, dec 1*, rep 6 times. (12 sts)
   Stuff.
   Rnd 17: Dec 6 times, sl st 1. (6 sts)
   Fasten off and weave in ends.
